Spreading Dimensions is an interactive modular installation that transforms architectural spaces into resonance structures, by picking up sound around the gallery (specially conversations).
Walls hear (literally) and then the sound is produced in some other inner space. Visitors have a clue of the place they are hearing through stickers in the wall, but getting to some of them force the audience to adopt particular postures.
The gallery becomes the artwork and, in a playful way, people break behavior protocols to catch out of place conversations and somehow re-build the space through playfulness and imagination.
This work was produced with the support of the Young Artists Program of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts.
